DG and Directors are practical Bankers with more than three decades of experience in Banking and work experience as the Directors of RUDSET Institutes. The guest faculties are the experts in the field of Entrepreneurship Development and Human Resources Development.
H.SOMASHEKAR
Director General
Degree in English literature from Mysore University, LLB from Bangalore University, PG Diploma in HRM from Karnataka State Open University and Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.
Work experience as a Bank officer in Human Resources & Organisation Development Department at corporate office, Manager heading rural branch, Specialised SME finance branch,SME business unit at Corporate office and as executive establishing & heading exclusive Retail & MSME credit delivery outlets at zonal level.Specialized in formulating policies & developing products for financing MSME sector.
Served as Director of RUDSET Institute Mysore for 2 years as Director, conducting Entrepreneurship Development & HRD training programmes and facilitating interventions for promotion of Micro Enterprises. As Executive Director of RUDSET at Central Secretariat, Ujire for 3 years shouldered the responsibility of designing & implementing Self employment/Entrepreneurship development/HR training & facilitation interventions, administrative practices and monitoring mechanism for all the RUDSETIS. Instrumental in preparing an EDP training module and training manual for PMRY scheme of Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. Expertise in conceptualizing ED interventions and organization development systems & processes.
DT RAMANUJA
Director
Mr. D.T. Ramanuja is a Graduate in Horticulture with a post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM). He joined Syndicate Bank in the year 1980 as Rural Development Officer and has worked in different locations and capacities mostly in Rural Finance and Rural Development Activities.
Presently he is working as Director in National Academy of RUDSETI. Since 2009 he has conducted Trainer’s Training to about 350 Directors of RSETIs across the country at NAR, Bangalore.
Earlier to the present assignment, he worked as Secretary, Syndicate Rural Development Trust (SRDT), Manipal during 2006 to 2009 wherein he was monitoring the functioning of all Synd RSETIs sponsored by Syndicate Bank at the apex level. His association with RUDSETI began in 1997 when he was posted to RUDSETI, Mysore as Joint Director. During his tenure of five years there, he trained nearly 5000 unemployed youth in Entrepreneurship Development and among them four women have been accorded National level recognitions in Entrepreneurship. He was instrumental in outlining the process and preparing the training course modules during 2010 at NAR jointly with RUDSETI, Ujire and submitted to MORD, Govt. of India. Since 1997, he has been involved in conducting EDP and HRD trainings at National level very successfully. He is one of the accredited motivational speaker & trainer in RSETI model of EDP training in the country.
NR SRINIVASA MURTHY
Director
He is a Post Graduate from UAS, Bangalore and has been working in the area of Agriculture Finance and General Banking in various cadres in Bank serving in different parts of the country for the last 30 years. Earlier he had a brief stint in Agriculture research and academics as well at University of Agricultural Sciences. He was very actively involved in developmental process, co-ordinating with Banks concerned Government Departments for implementation of various poverty alleviation central schemes and other projects at grass root level while working as Lead District Manager in Bangalore Rural District.
He has been instrumental in shaping thousands of under privileged and underserved Rural Educated unemployed youth and also the farming community by way of counseling, training and facilitating them as a Director of one of the Rural Self employment Training Institutes of Canara Bank for more than 5 years.
He has passion for Rural Development and has motivated and empowered several Bank Managers and Officers particularly working in Rural Bank branches by way of designing Rural specific and customized training programmes and also organizing the same, during his stint as incharge of Regional Staff Training College, Canara Bank both at Bangalore and Pune till recently.
He is a thorough professional and a trainer-par-excellence, specially in the area of Rural Micro Entrepreneurship. He is presently working as a Director, National Academy of RUDSETI, a national level apex training body for promoting Entrepreneurship in our country.
